What is ORCA?
ORCA (Oregon Residential Carpenters Apprenticeship) is a state certified apprenticeship program operated through NARI Pacific NW. It is designed specifically for the residential remodeling industry and connects apprentices with vetted NARI member contractors.
The ORCA program is a 501(c)3 non-profit. Tax ID: 394457704

Why Apprenticeship?
While college offers many options to students and jobseekers, Apprenticeship also provides a viable pathway to a variety of great careers. The reality is that many are pushed towards a traditional 4-year degree as their only option for a financially stable future while Apprenticeship offers the same opportunity for economic independence, but with no crushing debt from student loans!
Apprenticeship is one of the most practical, proven strategies we have to strengthen our workforce and our economy.
Apprenticeship is widely known as the “Earn-While-You-Learn” education model because you are paid a living wage while learning your craft both in the classroom, and on the job. Depending on your trade, you could be making more than $40/hr at the end of your Apprenticeship program
